Embryology Lab Assistant

IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking an Embryology Lab Assistant to join our growing San Francisco, CA location ! This is a full-time position Sunday - Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm. Job Purpose: This position aids the entire embryology laboratory department in administrative areas by performing laboratory paperwork functions. Minor technical work includes dish preparations, QC, and inventory duties. This is a responsible position that requires supervision. This position works with instruction or direction from the laboratory director or designate.Essential Functions And AccountabilitiesFollows procedures for reporting and maintaining patient records.Assists with quality control procedures and instrument calibrations and maintenance.Participates in laboratory operations and meetings as needed.Confirms accuracy of clinical charts prior to release for insurance and physician reviews.Responsible for ordering/receiving lab supplies and maintaining inventories.Verifies specimen chain of custody during lab procedures.Assists embryologists with the general lab duties.Maintains inventories and lab supplies.Academic TrainingBachelor’s degree in one of the sciences - required Position Requirements/ExperiencePrevious lab admin experience - preferred Technical SkillsElectronic Medical Records (EMR) experience Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook IVI-RMA offers a comprehensive benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
