Must Have Java (5 7 years hands-on, strong backend) Spring Boot / Microservices architecture Strong SQL and database fundamentals (query writing + optimization) Production troubleshooting/debugging experience STRONGLY PREFERRED: AWS (hands-on development + debugging) Banking domain experience Experience handling complex enterprise applications GOOD TO HAVE: DB2 (plus) Oracle / PostgreSQL Basic scripting (Shell / Windows / platform-level) Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes future relevance)What the Manager is REALLY Looking For Developers who can quickly understand large, complex systems Strong debugging mindset (NOT just coding) Ability to jump into production issues and isolate root cause Comfortable speaking with stakeholders on live calls Can work without deep domain knowledge initially Backend-focused engineers (frontend only 10 20%)ThanksJay
