A global leader in business and technology services.Job Title: Senior Accountant (Accounts Payable – AP Manager) Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Mon, Wed, Thu) Duration: 5+ Months ContractPay Rate: Up to $53/hr. on W2Job Summary Client is seeking adetail-oriented Senior Accountant (Accounts Payable focus)to support the AP team during a parental leave coverage. This role will act as abackup to the AP Managerand play a key role in ensuringaccuracy, efficiency, and complianceacross AP operations. The candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Supply Chain, and Operational teams while ensuring adherence toUS GAAP and SOX compliance .Key Responsibilities Approve invoices (under $25K queue) including2-way and 3-way matching Support and act asbackup to AP Managerfor batch payments Preparemulti-period accounting workbooksand validate with FP&A Partner with cross-functional teams toresolve complex AP issues Ensure compliance withinternal policies, SOX, and US GAAP Provideexcellent stakeholder support(vendors, internal teams) Assist inprocess improvements and special projectsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of accounting experience(public accounting preferred) Strong understanding of: Accounts Payable processes Invoice processing & reconciliation 2-way / 3-way match Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Highly detail-oriented with ability to multitaskAbout Trident Consulting Trident Consulting is an award-winning staffing and consulting firm headquartered in San Ramon, CA.
