You’ll have the opportunity to influence safety culture, drive process improvements, and see your leadership directly impact project success.SummaryThe Production Supervisor is part of ATMI-Indy’s management team and is responsible for overseeing daily production operations. This position supervises foremen and coordinates plant activities to achieve safety, quality, and production goals. The Production Supervisor ensures schedules are met, teams are aligned, and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented effectively.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and plan production activities, establishing priorities for effective operations and cost controlLead daily meetings with foremen to review safety, production goals, and resource planningOversee quality, safety, and housekeeping standards across all production areasDirect and observe employees to ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresInvestigate and document safety incidents, disciplinary actions, and performance issuesCollaborate with management to develop and implement production improvementsCoordinate manpower and equipment resources to meet project deadlines with minimal overtimeMonitor material usage, maintain inventory, and ensure timely ordering of suppliesRecommend employee hiring, transfers, promotions, and recognitionIdentify and implement cost-saving measures related to labor, overhead, and materialsSupport preventive maintenance scheduling and equipment inspectionsServe as a role model for attendance, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvementPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsPrevious manufacturing or industrial production leadership experience requiredExperience in precast or prestressed concrete preferredACI Level 1 and PCI Level 2 certifications required; PCI Level 3 a plusStrong understanding of production processes, safety, and quality controlProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to lead, motivate, and prioritize team tasks effectivelyStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesEnvironment And Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move objects up to 50 lbsAbility to climb onto or down from equipment and walk long distances in an industrial settingMust be able to work in outdoor conditions that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and dustFirst shift position (40+ hours per week) with occasional weekend work required
