Head of Leasing

Wasley Associates has been retained to recruit a Vice President, Leasing for a privately held real estate investment company in Southern California.Our client is an established owner and operator of a diversified commercial real estate portfolio, with a primary focus on industrial properties and selected commercial office assets. The total portfolio is in excess of 10,000,00 square feet.This is a landlord-side leasing role, not a tenant representation position. The Vice President, Leasing will lead leasing activity across the portfolio and work closely with ownership and senior leadership on leasing strategy, transaction execution, broker relationships, tenant quality, occupancy, and long-term asset performance.The role will include:Leading leasing strategy and execution across the portfolioNegotiating LOIs, renewals, expansions, amendments, extensions, and related lease documentationWorking closely with ownership and senior leadership on leasing priorities and deal approvalsBuilding and strengthening broker, tenant, and market relationshipsSupporting leasing efforts in existing markets and targeted growth marketsPartnering with legal, asset management, property management, construction, and finance teams to move transactions forward efficientlyThe ideal candidate will have:10 to 12+ years of commercial real estate leasing experienceStrong industrial leasing experienceMeaningful landlord-side leasing experienceAdditional office leasing experience preferredStrong negotiation and transaction execution skillsCredibility with brokers, tenants, and internal stakeholdersA practical, ownership-oriented mindsetThis is a strong opportunity for a seasoned leasing professional who wants to move beyond a pure brokerage role and have direct influence on portfolio strategy, leasing execution, tenant quality, occupancy, and long-term asset value.The role is based in Southern California and will require regular in-office presence.Interested candidates or referrals may contact me directly and confidentially:John Wasley Wasley Associates jwasley@wasleyassociates.com 310-963-3811
