Lead Bartender

BAR LEAD – TACOLICIOUS *Location:* Mission District, San Francisco *Position:* Bar Lead *Pay:* Up to $26/hour + tips Tacolicious is looking for an experienced, reliable, and hands-on *Bar Lead* to join our Mission District team. We’re looking for someone who is confident behind the bar, works well in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and can help lead by example while keeping the bar organized, efficient, and ready for service. REQUIRED AVAILABILITY — PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING This schedule is *non-negotiable*: *Monday & Tuesday:* Open availability / all day *Wednesday–Saturday:* Evening availability *Please apply ONLY if you are consistently available for these days and times.* EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Applicants must have *at least 1 year of experience as a Bar Lead, Bar Manager, or similar bar leadership position.* The ideal candidate: * Has strong bartending fundamentals and cocktail knowledge * Has experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant/bar * Can lead and support other bartenders during service * Understands bar prep, stocking, cleanliness, organization, and closing standards * Helps maintain consistency and quality across the bar program * Is comfortable training and coaching team members * Communicates well with FOH and management * Takes ownership of the bar rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done We’re looking for someone who can bring *leadership, consistency, organization, and positive energy* to the bar while still being an active member of the restaurant team. *Again, Monday and Tuesday open availability and Wednesday–Saturday evening availability are required.
