CNC Machinist

We are a leading company in the design and manufacture of polyurethane processing equipment. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to manage the programming, setup, and operation of various CNC equipment, including a Mazak Integrex multi-tasking machining center. Normal shift hours are M-F 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., however some shift flexibility may be required from time to time. Key Responsibilities: Program, set up, and operate a variety of Machine Shop equipment including mills, lathes, drill presses, saws and CNC mills, lathes and multi-tasking machining center. Ensure precise measurement of finished parts to meet product specifications and tolerance levels Make adjustments to set-up and programming as necessary to uphold the highest standards of quality Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations Maintain machinery, tools, and work areas in optimal condition Review and redline drawings and schematics as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Skills and Experience: Proficient in CNC equipment set-up and programming using 3rd party programming software Ability to operate all manual machines proficiently Correct use of common power tools, hand tools, micrometers, and calipers Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances and set up Accurate measurement and mathematical skills Proven track record of safety awareness and adherence Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine shop operations or equivalent Ability to handle weights up to 50 pounds and assemble large components with physical dexterity Demonstrated strong work ethic with high productivity Excellent attendance and punctuality record Strong attention to detail Must be able to follow written and oral instructions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
