The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for managing client relationships, renewal strategy, and coverage consultation for an assigned book of commercial insurance business. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, focusing on retention, coverage alignment, and organic growth while ensuring accurate execution and compliance. As the agency continues to grow, this role is designed to evolve into a senior advisory and leadership position supported by dedicated Account Manager resources.Key ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities listed below represent the primary duties of this position. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner for ongoing service and renewalsLead renewal strategy, coverage reviews, and client consultation meetingsIdentify coverage gaps, emerging exposures, and opportunities for program improvementsPartner with Commercial Agents/Producers on client strategy, key accounts, and complex renewalsCoordinate policy changes, renewals, and service needs while maintaining strong quality and documentation standardsMaintain strong relationships with carriers and underwritersReview policies, proposals, and renewals for accuracy, completeness, and coverage intentDocument client conversations, recommendations, and decisions in accordance with agency and compliance standardsDrive retention and organic growth through consultative account management and cross-sellingEscalate complex coverage, underwriting, or client issues to the Director of Commercial Lines as neededPerforms other duties as assigned.Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.ExperienceRequired Qualifications3-7+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience preferredActive Property & Casualty license requiredStrong knowledge of commercial coverages including General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella, and specialty linesExperience working with multiple carriers and agency management systemsStrong client communication, presentation, and relationship management skillsEducationBachelor's degree or equivalent. Currently possess or must obtain Kansas/Missouri Property & Casualty License and Kansas/Missouri Life & Health License. CISR, CIC or other insurance related designations are preferred.
