Field Service Engineer / Field Service TechnicianDirect Hire Opportunity | High-Tech International ManufacturerWe are seeking a Field Service Engineer or Field Service Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a global, high-tech company delivering advanced laser technology solutions to the Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, and Scientific Research industries.Available LocationsIdaho Falls, IDDavenport, IA Compensation & BenefitsPay: $32-$45/hour (based on experience)Overtime & Per Diem AvailableFull Benefits Package, including:Paid Time Off (PTO)Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k)Short-Term & Long-Term Disability (STD/LTD)Relocation Package: $10,000-$15,000 for qualified candidates, which includes:4-8 weeks of apartment or extended-stay housing6-8 weeks of car rental Key ResponsibilitiesSupport customers across North America as part of the technical service teamInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair company equipment to high-quality standardsPerform basic retrofits and software installationsProvide customer training on equipment operation and maintenanceComplete service documentation accurately and on timeWork independently to resolve technical issues while maintaining strong customer relationshipsParticipate in an initial 5-6 month training program, with ongoing training on new and existing productsTake on additional responsibilities as assigned by management • QualificationsAssociate degree (2-year) in Engineering or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experienceStrong electrical and computer systems knowledge with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsPrior experience with robotics, lasers, automation systems, or mechatronics requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently in a field-based environment Travel Requirements100% travel within North America to support customer sites and possible internationalOccasional overnight stays requiredValid driver's license requiredAbility to obtain a U.S. passportMust be able to rent automobilesINDH
