Business Development Representative
We’re growing the sales team at Moore Group, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative who can help us open the right doors.Moore Group is an eight-figure, retailer-first Amazon partner that works with consumer brands to build and grow their business on the marketplace. We buy inventory, sell it ourselves, and handle the strategy, advertising, listings, forecasting, logistics, and channel execution behind it. Think less agency, more outsourced Amazon department/Investor with real skin in the game.We want someone hungry.Someone who likes figuring things out, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, and gets a little obsessed with finding the right way into an account.Someone who sees a brand they want to work with and starts thinking:Who actually makes the decision here?Who could become a champion for us?What does this company care about?What's happening with their business on Amazon?What's the angle that could actually get their attention?If the first approach doesn't work, what do I try next?This is a role for someone with a bias toward action.You won't be expected to wait around for someone to tell you every move to make. We'll give you the tools, training, support, and coaching, but we want someone who can take ownership of a goal and go figure out how to get there.What You'll DoProspect into accounts through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and whatever other smart approach gets you to the right peopleCold call. A lot. You need to be comfortable picking up the phone and creating conversationsIdentify decision-makers, influencers, and potential internal championsThink strategically about how to break into accounts rather than relying on one contact or one channelLearn enough about each brand, its category, and its Amazon presence to have an intelligent reason for reaching outBook qualified meetings and help create momentum toward real opportunitiesFollow up with urgency and persistence without becoming robotic or annoyingKeep HubSpot accurate and useful so the team knows exactly where opportunities standWork closely with leadership and the broader sales team to constantly improve how we prospect and open new businessBring ideas. Test things. Learn from what works and what doesn'tTravel up to six times per year for trade shows, industry events, and other opportunities to learn, build relationships, and develop new businessWho We're Looking ForSome previous business development or sales experience is preferred. Bonus if you've worked for or sold into consumer brands, ecommerce, CPG, wholesale, Amazon, or a similar brand-side commercial environment.
