With multiple active sites and a stable project pipeline, they have built a reputation for operational excellence and investing in their people.They are known for attracting and retaining high-caliber safety professionals and offer a collaborative environment where safety is not just a priority—but a core value embedded in daily operations.About The RoleOur client is seeking a Safety Specialist (EHS Specialist) to support field operations and surface facilities by ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and reinforcing a strong, proactive safety culture.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, working closely with operations teams, and playing a hands-on role in safety execution. You will partner directly with supervisors, crews, and leadership to drive safety initiatives and ensure alignment with regulatory and company standards.What You’ll Be Doing Support day-to-day EHS activities across field operations and surface facilities Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry-specific safety regulations Conduct field audits, safety inspections, and job hazard analyses (JHAs) Partner with operations teams to identify risks and implement practical safety solutions Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Deliver and support safety training programs for employees and contractors Track safety metrics and maintain accurate documentation and reporting Reinforce a strong safety culture through consistent field presence and engagement Support contractor safety compliance and onboarding processes Assist with emergency response planning and readinessWhat We’re Looking For 2–5+ years of EHS experience within oil & gas, energy, construction, or heavy industrial environments Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations Experience supporting field operations, surface facilities, or construction environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence field personnel Hands-on, proactive approach with a strong attention to detail Experience with incident investigations and safety reporting Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred (not required) Certifications such as OSHA 30, ASP, or CHST are a plusWhat Our Partner Offers Competitive base salary (DOE) 90% employer-paid medical benefits for employees 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Opportunity to work alongside a high-performing safety team with strong leadership Long-term stability with a well-established oil & gas organization Clear opportunity for growth within the safety function
