💼 Join Haven Group Property Management in Cleveland, Ohio – General Manager | $120K–$130K On-Target EarningsAre you an experienced property management leader who knows how to build strong teams, improve operations, and keep a growing portfolio running smoothly?Haven Group Property Management is hiring an experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cleveland-area property management business.This is a senior leadership position responsible for managing and supporting our Resident Services and Leasing teams, while ensuring the company consistently delivers a high level of service to owners and residents.The General Manager will be responsible for creating accountability across departments, developing team members, improving operational processes, monitoring company performance, and ensuring the entire operation works together efficiently.We are looking for an experienced property management professional who understands the industry, knows how to lead people, and is comfortable taking ownership of the performance of a large and growing property management operation.A minimum of 5 years of professional property management experience is required for this position.About Haven Group Property Management:Founded in 2010 we have a long history of managing real estate in Northeast Ohio. We continue to build relationships by providing a consistent experience to each and every client through our centralized office.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Haven Group Property Management and ensure Resident Services and Leasing departments are operating efficiently and effectively.Team Management: Lead, support, and hold accountable teams including Leasing Agents, Resident Services Coordinators.Department Oversight: Ensure clear communication, coordination, and accountability between departments.Performance Management: Establish expectations, monitor employee and departmental performance, and address performance issues when necessary.Team Development: Coach and develop managers and team members to improve performance, leadership capabilities, and overall effectiveness.Process Improvement: Identify operational challenges and implement systems, procedures, and improvements that increase efficiency and service quality.Resident Experience: Oversee operational standards related to leasing, maintenance, communication, and resident satisfaction.Maintenance Oversight: Work with maintenance leadership to ensure work orders, turns, vendor relationships, and property maintenance are being handled efficiently.Leasing Oversight: Monitor leasing performance, vacancy, application processing, and the overall effectiveness of the leasing department.KPI Management: Track key operational metrics and use performance data to identify issues, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with company leadership to execute business objectives and support the continued growth of Haven Group Property Management.Problem Solving: Take ownership of escalated operational challenges and ensure appropriate solutions are implemented.Company Culture: Help create a culture of accountability, communication, professionalism, and continuous improvement.Qualifications:Property Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional property management experience required.Previous experience managing a property management team, department, or operation strongly preferred.Strong understanding of residential property management operations, including property management, leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and owner communication.Proven ability to lead, manage, coach, and hold employees accountable.Experience managing multiple departments or teams is strongly preferred.Strong organizational skills and the ability to oversee multiple priorities simultaneously.Ability to identify operational problems and develop practical solutions.Strong understanding of KPIs, performance management, and operational accountability.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership presence and ability to communicate effectively with employees, residents, property owners, vendors, and company leadership.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Experience using property management software, CRM systems, and other operational technology.Professional, dependable, and capable of taking ownership of company-wide operational outcomes.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.What We Offer:Competitive $90,000–$100,000 base salaryPerformance-based compensation with $120,000–$130,000 on-target annual earningsLeadership role within an established and growing property management organizationOpportunity to oversee and develop multiple departmentsAbundant resources and supportCollaborative and growth-oriented company cultureOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on the company's operations, team, and continued growthThis Role Is a Great Fit If You:Have built your career in property management and are ready for a larger leadership roleEnjoy leading and developing teamsAre comfortable holding people accountable while helping them succeedNaturally look for ways to improve processes and operationsCan see the big picture while still paying attention to operational detailsEnjoy solving problems and taking ownership of resultsAre comfortable managing multiple departments and prioritiesThrive in a growing organization where strong leadership and operational structure are importantIf you are an experienced property management leader who enjoys building teams, improving operations, and creating accountability, we would love to hear from you.Work Location: This is a full-time position located at 5386 Majestic Parkway Ste 9, Bedford Heights, OH 44146.
