Job Title: Project ManagerLocation: Collierville, TNDuration: 12 Month Contract w/ Possible ExtensionsStart Date: ASAPNumber of Openings: 1OverviewA large, enterprise-level organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Global Vendor Management Office and Contingent Labor Group with day-to-day operations and the implementation of a new Vendor Management System (VMS). This role will be responsible for applying best practice PMO methodologies to develop project plans, manage deliverables, track milestones, and ensure successful outcomes aligned with stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with proven experience delivering projects in complex environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop integrated baseline project plans using established estimating models, resource planning, and skill assessments.Identify business needs, recommend best-fit solutions, and ensure alignment with operational goals.Manage project scope by assessing requirement changes, evaluating impacts on budget, schedule, and risk.Provide detailed schedules, cost forecasts, and risk assessments to stakeholders.Capture, track, and analyze program metrics to measure progress and performance.Anticipate operational and tactical risks; escalate issues as needed.Coordinate and facilitate meetings, ensuring clear communication and accountability.Manage client expectations, ensuring high-quality delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.Lead project closure activities, including client feedback collection, lessons learned, and documentation archiving.Assist with the successful implementation and rollout of a new Vendor Management System (VMS).Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Project Management or related field.Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in enterprise environments.Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)MS Project and/or Visio experience requiredExperience with project metrics, reporting, and trend analysisProfessional Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with exceptional time management skillsAnalytical thinker with creative problem-solving abilityStrong interpersonal skills and customer service orientationAbility to identify, track, and resolve issues using root cause analysisPreferred QualificationsExperience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) or contingent labor program implementation.Prior experience in global vendor management or procurement projects.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
