We are looking for experienced General Medicine Physicians to provide critical Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments nationwide. Required Skills: Valid medical license in good standing in New York Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine Experience with compensation and pension (C&P) examinations preferred Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to perform exam documentation accurately and efficiently Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience working with veterans' health assessments Knowledge of federal healthcare standards and regulations Certification in relevant medical specialties or radiology Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience Prior experience in performing C&P exams or similar assessments Other Requirements: Own office location in New York, with availability for 1 day per week in Ithaca and 3 days per week in Trumansburg Willingness to work on a PRN basis, performing one-time non-treatment exams and assessments Ability to complete exams within 4-hour or full-day shifts Availability to complete administrative follow-up work such as report submissions and addendums Local candidates only; travel included in compensation rate No prescribing or treatment involved Quick credentialing and onboarding process This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to veterans’ health care while enjoying a flexible schedule and competitive hourly pay of $624.00.
