About You: As a Dishwasher at Half Moon Empanadas, you are a critical team member ensuring our kitchen's smooth and efficient operation. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness directly supports our team's ability to deliver exceptional empanadas at an efficient pace. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Responsibilities: Operates dishwashing equipment safely and according to manufacturer instructions. Maintains a clean and well-stocked supply of utensils, dishes, and equipment for the production team. Prioritizes and efficiently clean dishes to align with production schedules. Fosters a collaborative attitude and embody our core values in all interactions with team members. Follow standardized processes for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces. Contribute to operational efficiency by offering suggestions for process improvements. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Exemplifies the highest standard of cleanliness and safety Education and Experience: High School or 2 years of relevant experience is preferred Must have a collaborative and teamwork mindset Bilingual – Spanish and English – is preferred but nor required Work Environment & Schedule: This role is a full-time non-exempt role, in varying kitchen and industrial food manufacturing settings. Occasionally early morning hours and late evenings may be required to attend events and conduct special projects. This position requires prolonged standing and walking. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
