PRN Physical Therapist (PT) in Helena, AL
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Helena, Alabama. This PRN (as-needed) position offers flexibility while allowing you to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. Responsibilities:Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems to determine functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans.Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions aimed at reducing pain, improving mobility, and enhancing overall functional abilities.Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities as part of treatment plans.Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury-prevention techniques to support continuity of care and promote long-term wellness.Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including PTAs, physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies related to patient care and documentation. Qualifications:Doctorate (DPT) or Master's (MPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Current Alabama PT license or eligibility for licensure.CPR certification (preferred).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Previous clinical experience preferred but not required.Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
