Compound Development Solutions / R.M. Palmer Company, LLC designs, produces, packages, and ships seasonal chocolate novelties. Its products include filled chocolates, solid chocolates, chocolate bars and balls, chocolate cups and coins, chocolate patties, and seasonal products. In addition to their own branded products, the Company co-manufactures both seasonal and everyday products for other large, branded companies. Today, the Company operates out of two manufacturing facilities and one distribution facility with ~600 full-time employees. R.M. Summary:
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform routine and specialized maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of our machinery and building structures. Your expertise will help us maintain high productivity and safety standards.
Maintenance Mechanic Duties:
Preventative Maintenance: Regularly service machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Repairs and Replacements: Fix or replace defective parts using a variety of tools.
Installation: Set up industrial machinery and related components.
Fabrication: Utilize maintenance shop tools for repairs and creating custom parts.
Building Maintenance: Conduct routine upkeep of building structures.
Additional Tasks: Complete other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:
Knowledge/Skills:
Strong mechanical understanding and proficiency with tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
3-5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or related fields.
Prior experience in production or manufacturing is a plus.
Machines, Tools & Equipment, Software:
Forklifts, electric power jacks, lifts, ladders, hand tools, power tools.
Personal computer with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
