This is a pivotal role supporting strategic leadership and positioning the organization for continued growth and long-term sustainability.If you’re someone who can translate mission into financial strategy, guide smart decision-making, and ensure strong stewardship of resources—we’d love to connect.What You'll DoStrategic Leadership: Guide financial strategy, assess risk, and support organizational decision-makingFinancial Planning: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial planningSenior Leadership: Deliver clear financial reporting and insights to the President & CEO, Board and Audit Finance CommitteeOperations Oversight: Manage accounting, cash flow, payroll, and monthly/annual close processesGrants & Contracts: Oversee budgeting, invoicing, compliance, and restricted fund trackingCompliance & Audit: Lead audit processes and ensure strong internal controlsSystems & Infrastructure: Strengthen financial systems, dashboards, and operational efficiencyWhat You'll Bring10+ years of financial leadership experience (nonprofit preferred) Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Experience leading teams and partnering across departments Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial audiences Proficiency in financial systems (QuickBooks Online a plus) and advanced Excel skills A collaborative, mission-driven mindset with a commitment to social justice CPA or MBA a plusPosition DetailsStarting range $85,000-$95,00040 hours per week/Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., occasional nights & weekendsCompetitive benefits package including health & dental, matching retirementStart date July 6, 2026To apply, please submit resume and cover letter to Jennifer Perry, Director of People and Culture,  Disclaimer: This is not necessarily a comprehensive list of job responsibilities or requirements.
