Job Description Johnson Service Group is seeking a Material Handler I for our client in the Biotech industry that is committed to helping patients at all stages of cancer live longer and healthier lives through their technology. Biotech experience a plus!6 Month ContractPayrate $266 Paid HolidaysEssential Duties and Responsibilities:About the Role:The Material Handler I is responsible for assisting the various laboratories, fulfilling the right levels of inventory, and performing real time transactions in the ERP system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for delivering temperature sensitive material to labs, issuing material to work orders and other uses, ensuring that all necessary transactions are completed in the ERP system.Experience in fulfillment activities including delivery of critical reagents to labs, Kanban of plastic supplies and completing transactions in an ERP system.Experience in rapid-growth life science environment working with temperature-sensitive materials a plusMust be able to create and maintain excel skills on a need basisExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skillsEnter Data into ERP system – Material Issuance, Transfer Orders, Inventory TransfersPerform other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications:High School Diploma requiredForklift Certification preferred, not requiredCalifornia Drivers License as RequiredPrevious work experience in a lab preferredExcellent attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and be flexible with tasks and schedulesAbility to work independently in a team environmentCompany DescriptionJohnson Service Group, Inc.
