Nurses in this role will float within Zone 3 and are expected to be adaptable and proficient in managing high acuity patients and titrating critical drips.Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care in combination ICUs including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU.Float to different facilities within a 60-mile radius based around the Denver City Center as needed.Titrate critical drips and manage high acuity cases independently.Read and interpret telemetry independently without monitor tech support.Assist respiratory therapists and manage respiratory needs when necessary.Adapt to different hospital settings and potentially new patient assessments with short notice.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; prefer prior travel experience.ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required.Comfortable with tele monitoring, reading strips independently, and using EPIC charting system.Willingness to work nights and float between Zone 3 facilities including OrthoColorado Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, and St. Anthony North Hospital.Flexibility in scheduling with potential for 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.Thrive Staffing Job ID #18279810.
