Communications Specialist

IntroductionThis is a 5-month role designed for a current college student or recent graduate. The position provides hands-on experience supporting internal communications for the workforce at the Chattanooga plant. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, organized, detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable learning new tools and processes quickly.Required Skills & Qualifications1–2 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field (including internships, campus roles, part-time work, or volunteer experience).Recently completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Comfortable drafting, proofreading (AP Style), and formatting content for internal channels.Ability to work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional partners in a plant environment.Prior work experience in the client's industry is preferred.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with social/intranet style publishing tools.Basic photo editing/cropping skills (using tools like Canva or built-in editors).Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDraft, proofread, and format short updates for internal channels using provided templates and guidance.Pull engagement metrics from internal tools and maintain weekly/monthly trackers.Support internal plant engagement/event logistics and provide day-of support as assigned.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
