It collaborates with families, providers, and health plans to enhance existing care teams, offering compassionate and creative support for children with medical complexity.About the Opportunity:The ACUTE CARE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT supports the multidisciplinary Acute Care team by managing scheduling and dispatch for Pediatric Home Care Specialists and partner resources. This role facilitates clinical communication, ensures provider safety, verifies patient eligibility and insurance, and assists with patient intake and administrative tasks. The position is essential for coordinating care delivery and enabling effective patient support.Responsibilities:Serve as scheduler for the Acute Care Team.Dispatch in-house Pediatric Home Care Specialists and partner Mobile Integrated Healthcare resources.Monitor Home Care Specialist location to ensure safety.Arrange communication channels for in-home visits.Facilitate clinician communication via the Teams platform.Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage.Collaborate with intake and triage clinicians to manage inbound communications.Connect patients to appropriate care teams and support administrative tasks.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of healthcare organization experience; dispatch experience preferred.Minimum 2 years of telephonic communication with patients and/or families.Minimum 2 years experience with multiple clinical and/or dispatch systems.Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Pay Range and Compensation Package:The role offers a base hourly range of $21 to $24 plus annual bonus incentive.Eligibility for an employee equity purchase program.Benefits & Perks:Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Healthcare and Dependent Care FSA; Company-funded HSA.401(k) with 4% match, fully vested from day one.Employer-paid short and long-term disability.Life insurance at 1x annual salary.20 days PTO plus 10 company holidays and 2 floating holidays.Paid new parent leave.Additional benefits to be detailed in offer.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
