Construction Project Coordinator

Job DescriptionGeneral Description:Construction Management & Development, Inc. (CM&D) is currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator. Expected to provide full-time administrative and accounting support to the Assessment and Oversight Division. They will establish and maintain all project files and serve as a back-up to Project Coordinators, Project Managers, and the Payroll & Accounting department. Persons in this role are expected to have strong organizational and administrative skills, moderate accounting skills, and comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis on Word and Excel). Familiarity with Smartsheets is also a plus.Duties & Responsibilities: Reports to the Managing Director of Assessments and Oversights. Under general supervision of the Managing Director, completes administrative and accounting tasks;Provides complex problem solving skills to resolve construction budget and finance related issues;Data entry;Establish and maintain project Draw files;Assist Project Managers;Compose and type correspondence to project clients;Establish and maintain project meetings;Interacts with a diverse group of external and internal contacts at all levels;Receive and distribute project correspondences, data, and other project records and documents;Prepares report templates and manages report consistency;Ensures reports are written professionally as demanded by CM&D and its clients;Maintains tracking files and ensures deliverable are issued on schedule;Assists the Assessment and Oversight Field team with the completion and issuance of deliverables;Perform other related tasks as assigned. Requirements: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or Construction Management is required. Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written; able to receive, understand, and send communications with both colleagues and clients. Advanced MS Excel and Word skills, and moderate proficiency with accounting software. Ability to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow-up skills both internally and externally. Ability to balance multiple short-term deadlines against long-term goals. Must be located in the Pacific or Central time zone.
