A health services network in New York is actively seeking a licensedNeurologist to provide direct care to patients within the Neurology specialty at one of their medical practices in Rockland County.About the Opportunity:Specialty:NeurologySetting: 75% outpatient, 25% inpatientSchedule: Monday to FridayPatient Population: AdultsPatient Volume: 15 to 20 per dayCall Schedule: Yes (24 hours during on-call week)Responsibilities:The Neurologist will:Provide patients with a continuum of careAssess the physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs of the patientDirect patients to the next appropriate service and track their progressAssure that all patients receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening and medical evaluation whenever indicatedEnsure thatmedical patient care is appropriately documented in the medical recordPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New YorkBoard Eligible / Certified in NeurologyQualified for membership on the Medical StaffSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsGreatinterpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Your privacy is important to us.
