Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer Python / Angular (24/7 Banking Systems) Client: Tier-1 Japanese Trust Bank Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid) On-site(4 days/1 day WFH per week) Engagement Term: Long-Term Contract Start Date: Immediate (Post-Offer) Interview Process: 1st interview: online, 2nd interview: onsite(Midtown) About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with 7+ years of experience to join a premier Japanese Trust Bank in NYC. In this role, you will lead technology implementation, build resilient server-side services, and ensure high availability for 24/7 mission-critical financial applications. This is a hybrid position based in New York City with standard daytime business hours and on-call rotation support for incident response. Key Responsibilities: Full Stack Development: Build, maintain, and optimize responsive front-end interfaces using Angular/TypeScript and robust back-end APIs using Python (Django/Flask). System Availability & Reliability: Architect systems for high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery in a 24/7 production environment. Database Management: Design database schemas and tune high-performance SQL across RDBMS platforms (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS). Cloud Architecture: Deploy, manage, and monitor infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch). Incident & Production Support: Conduct initial investigations, root cause analyses, recovery executions, and permanent fixes during incident handling. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with InfoSec, QA, project managers, and external vendors to align technical execution with business requirements and regulatory audit standards. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: 7+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience utilizing Python (Django or Flask) and Angular / TypeScript / JavaScript. Database Expertise: Proven experience with schema design, indexing, and SQL performance tuning on RDBMS (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Cloud & Infrastructure: Direct experience with Linux operating environments and cloud computing platforms (preferably AWS). Monitoring & Tooling: Hands-on experience with system monitoring (CloudWatch) and version control/DevOps pipelines (TFS / Azure DevOps). Availability: Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call rotation / shift schedule (including evening, weekend, or holiday response when incidents arise). Preferred Qualifications Prior experience designing and supporting 24/7 mission-critical financial systems or enterprise-scale web services. Experience setting up non-functional requirements (SLA, RTO/RPO, audit logging, security). Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and establishing auto-scaling/redundancy mechanisms.
