The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in research, clinical training, and community health impact. This role is pivotal in advancing the institution's research enterprise, national standing, and philanthropic growth. The Dean will be responsible for strategic leadership in research and doctoral expansion, community impact, and population health programs. They must have a proven track record in fundraising, and national reputation, and be adept at fostering public-private and industry partnerships. The position demands a leader who can influence national policy and workforce outcomes and is committed to the institution's mission of excellence in education and research. Applicants for the Dean position at the company should hold an earned doctorate or terminal degree in a relevant health discipline and have senior executive academic leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Research 1 environments, be adept at complex budgeting, and have a proven ability to command national respect across academia, healthcare systems, philanthropy, and industry. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of accreditation, particularly in pharmacy and public health, and a demonstrated commitment to community engagement and interprofessional education.
