Process Engineer

Process Engineer - Milpitas, CA (Onsite)Salary: $130K-$150K We're hiring a Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations for PCBA (SMT & box build) production. This role focuses on process control, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and optimize PCB assembly processes (SMT/PTH)Support NPI from prototype through production (DFM/DFA, pilot builds)Program and optimize SMT and related equipment (ASMPT, Fuji, Panasonic, AOI, reflow, wave solder, coating systems)Analyze defects and drive corrective actions (RCA, 8D, FMEA)Improve KPIs (yield, FPY, OEE, cycle time, scrap)Create SOPs, work instructions, and maintain process documentationCollaborate cross-functionally and support audits, training, and technical guidanceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)5-7 years in manufacturing/process engineering, preferably PCBA/SMTStrong knowledge of PCB assembly, SPC, and data-driven problem solvingExcellent communication, analytical, and continuous improvement skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
