Senior Software Engineer - .Net

CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support backend development initiatives within a fintech environment. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and high performance backend solutions using .NET technologies within Azure cloud environments.This opportunity is ideal for a senior level engineer who has strong experience in banking or financial systems and enjoys working in a fast paced environment delivering mission critical applications.You will collaborate with cross functional teams to design develop and deliver secure financial applications while ensuring compliance with industry standards.Hours: Standard business hoursLocation: Hybrid (onsite in Los Angeles California)Pay: $70 to $82/hrPosition Type: ConsultantWork AuthorizationCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible for W2 employment. No sponsorship and no corp to corp arrangements are available.What you will do• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET within Azure cloud environments• Design implement and optimize REST APIs aligned with OAuth2 and OpenAPI standards• Collaborate with engineering product and business teams to deliver secure and scalable applications• Participate in code reviews testing and debugging to ensure high quality deliverables• Integrate observability tools such as Datadog and Grafana• Work within microservices and event driven architectures using Azure services• Support fast paced development cycles and contribute to mission critical project delivery• Follow security best practices aligned with financial industry standardsWhat we are looking for• 5 or more years of professional software engineering experience• At least 1 year of experience in a technical leadership capacity• Strong experience with C# .NET and SQL• Experience working in Azure environments including Azure SQL Cosmos DB and Key Vault• Experience designing and building REST APIs• Experience working with OAuth2 OpenAPI and event driven systems• Strong experience with Git DevOps and Agile methodologies• Understanding of security best practices in financial environments• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with iterative delivery cyclesNice to have• Experience in fintech or banking environments• Experience with container technologies and caching frameworks• Familiarity with partner onboarding workflows and SLA management• Contributions to open source projects or technical publicationsWho Should ApplyThis role is ideal for a backend focused software engineer who enjoys building secure scalable systems and working on high impact financial applications in a collaborative environment.About UsThe CSI Companies is a leading staffing and recruiting firm providing organizations with highly skilled professionals since 1994.
