Inventory Analyst

Job Description This position will support the accuracy of our inventory reporting while assisting in promulgating best practices across the organization.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesIdentify root causes of inventory variances through transaction researchPropose solutions and process changes to prevent re-occurrence of ongoing issuesRecommend changes to cycle count program based on count resultsReview causes of systemic issues (e.g. negative inventory balances, discrepancies in on-hand quantities, etc.)Review MUV and understand how and why materials are over-issued or under-issuedCollaborate with Engineering Department to validate BOMs with physical samplesReview cost discrepancies in counts (conversion transactions)Review account alias transactions for accuracyPerform deep-dive reviews of key inventory process steps (e.g., cable completion transactions, issue transactions to open work orders, multiple work order releases for same part numbers, etc.)Qualifications/RequirementsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalBachelor's degree or other equivalent certification (CPA, CMA, etc.)Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and/or managing inventory transactionsExperience using large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) a plusEqual Opportunity Employer - Disability and VeteranCompany DescriptionTimes Microwave Systems is a subsidiary of Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH) and part of the Amphenol Military and Aerospace division.
