The CST will play a critical role in assisting surgical teams by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are ready for procedures.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain sterile field for surgical proceduresSet up operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipmentAssist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needsEnsure proper handling, counting, and sterilization of surgical instrumentsAdhere to infection control and safety protocols at all timesCollaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionalsAssist with room turnover between proceduresMaintain accurate documentation related to surgical proceduresRequirementsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredCertificationsCertification as a Surgical Technologist required (NBSTSA or NCCT)ExperienceMinimum 1 year of prior Operating Room experience requiredStrong knowledge of perioperative practices and patient careSkillsExcellent understanding of sterile technique and surgical proceduresAbility to work efficiently in high-pressure environmentsStrong attention to detail and teamwork skillsEffective communication and organizational abilitiesSchedule & Work ConditionsNight shift, 12-hour scheduleRotating weekends requiredBlock scheduling not availableFor more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807
