Chief Financial Officer
Job Purpose:The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the financial health and operational efficiency of Sukup Manufacturing Co. and its subsidiaries. As a member of the company’s Executive Team, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping and executing the financial strategy, optimizing performance, and supporting the company's long-term financial goals. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in financial management and is skilled in overseeing multi-entity operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting.Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and compliance with GAAP and all relevant regulatory requirements.Develop and manage annual budgets and multi‑year financial plans, including capital expenditure planning.Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.Lead cash flow management, banking relationships, and financing strategies to support ongoing operations and growth.Partner with operations to evaluate plant performance, cost structure, pricing, and margin improvement opportunities in a manufacturing environment.Oversee internal controls, risk management, and audit processes to safeguard company assets.Direct and develop the finance and accounting team, building capabilities to support a growing organization.Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, major capital projects, and expansion opportunities through financial modeling and due diligence.Present financial results and key metrics to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders as needed.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification preferred.10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, including multi-subsidiary or multi-entity experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management.Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, fostering a results-oriented and collaborative environment.Upload your resume to apply.
