This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain valuable experience and continue developing their career with a well-established firm in Orange County.In this role, the Associate Attorney will report directly to the Firm Partners, manage an individual caseload, and maintain regular client interaction. The position also offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with our team of Immigration Attorneys and case managers.LOCATION:The ideal candidate will be working full-time from our Costa Mesa office. One day remote work would be allowed after a probationary period.QUALIFICATIONS:Fluency in Spanish is requiredThis position requires completion of a Juris Doctorate program and admission to a U.S. state bar.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Excellent writing skillsOne year of Immigration Law Experience: Removal Defense ImmigrationDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustmentsExplain immigration concepts and present strategic solutionsPrepare and submitting legal briefs for a variety of immigration casesCorrespond and/or meet with clients to gather documents and information and to guide them through various visa processes.Use case management system/database, various firm systems, and time management skills to monitor case milestones, follow up with clients, and meet both legal and client-relations deadlines.Exercise meticulous attention to detail to produce error-free forms, correspondence, and related legal work product.Prepare and represent clients at government interviews.Other tasks as required to meet client, Partner, and firm needs. xaygatp Law students, pending bar results, and U.S. bar-admitted lawyers only, please.
