LEAD or MANAGER - Middleware - Kafka /MQ Messaging Implementation / Support

Manager, Software Engineering - Kafka / MQ Middleware Implementation Location: Hybrid - Coppell, TX - 3 days a week This is managing over Kafka and MQ The ideal candidate will come up through either Kafka or MQ or both and then got into leadership or is a manager and wants to manage and strategize If they have a combination of Kafka and MQ they will come out of a financial company 9 out of 10 times There are 6 people in the group, 3 do Kafka and 3 do MQ It is 60% cloud, 40% on prem There are 10 products in the group Also need to know Jira and scrum master It's a combination of engineering and production support, so they will be 24/7 production support Must have excellent communication skills - and must be managing people SALARY: $136K - $170K PLUS 15% BONUS Multiple operating system platforms windows unix linux mainframe J2EE application servers automation scripting Jenkins ansible message oriented middleware WebSphere WebLogic MQ Apigee etc. don't have to have all of the middleware scripting and coding network technologies CICD tools cloud native AWS support microservices SFTP SSL/TLS PKI infrastructure management Responsibilities Drive the implementation and ongoing support of Middleware messaging team technologies in production and non-production environments. Qualifications [Required] Systems administration and change management practices. [Required] J2EE application services [Required] Message-oriented middleware. [Required] Internet / Web based technologies. [Required] ITLT Best Practices [Required] Scripting and coding. [Required] Network technologies [Required] CI/CD tools. [Required] Cloud native applications. [Required] Technologies used to support microservices. [Required] File transfer protocols including SFTP. [Required] Encryption technologies (SSL/TLS, PKI Infrastructure management) [Required] Security controls as applied to software technologies.
