Property Supervisor

ROLEThe Property Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the care of a private residence andsurrounding property, consisting of multiple houses, outbuildings, and working hobby farm. Theresponsibilities of the Lead Property supervisor will include coordinating and executing the careand maintenance tasks of the buildings and property, focusing on the oversight of a team ofemployees, predetermined scheduling to include thoroughly checking all completed routine andscheduled maintenance.The Property Supervisor role is a full-time, hourly position. The primary work location is in Ada,Michigan. The ideal candidate is a dedicated leader with a strong work ethic who is proactive, reactsquickly to situations, attentive to meticulous detail, thrives in a hands-on work environment andcan balance multiple priorities.RESPONSIBILITIESManage weekly, monthly, and annual routines according to the usage of the propertyCreating daily staffing schedules for the week. Monitoring the work performed and reporting it to the property manager dailyIdentifying priorities between the buildings and grounds ,this would pertain to owner, family, and guest occupying property. To include the seasonal changes, opening and closing per seasonHave the flexibility to adapt quickly with schedule, priority, weather, and staffing changesUnderstand the importance of being on site with the staff daily, getting them started in the morning and ensuring completion of the dayParticipating in after hours and weekend rotation scheduleSchedule and oversee the property staff in executing daily buildings and property maintenance tasks, contributing to the completion of these tasksDevelop intimate working knowledge of the buildings, property, and systemsManage preventative maintenance schedules for all buildings, systems and equipment, updating as necessary, and accurately documenting all maintenance itemsPersonally completing scheduled service day home checks. This would include all system checks, lightbulbs, adequate stock, etc.Conduct regular and in-depth interior and exterior maintenance inspections throughout the buildings and property, reporting and responding to findings as appropriateCoordinate with the Household/Properties Manager to oversee major repairs with appropriate contractors, ensuring successful and satisfactory completionAssist with coordinating and executing special projects, including events held on the propertiesHave the understanding this position includes a concierge serviceThe ability to serve and handle situations after hours that are desperate or could create more damaged if not addressed immediatelyREQUIREMENTSProperty Supervisor experienceGeneral knowledge and basic skill level in trades such as HVAC, plumbing, appliances, landscaping, construction, etc.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, approaching all interactions with a servant’s heartHigh attention to detail, organization, and follow-through of routinesAbility to lift 30 pounds to a maximum height of 6 feet, including occasional lifting up to 80 poundsAbility to stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and remain standing and walking on feet for lengthy periods of timeAbility to safely operate power machinery and lawn care toolsAbility to work outdoors in all types of weather conditionsOther RequirementsResponsibilities of the Property Supervisor are conducted in a private residence.
