This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Internal Communications, External Communications, and Events & Partnerships to deliver compelling copy and ideas that elevate the brand, support growth priorities, and strengthen enterprise reputation. The successful candidate will be a part of the Creative Studio team within the company’s Corporate Communications department, and report directly to the Executive Director, Creative Studio.This position is located in Reston, VA.ResponsibilitiesCraft persuasive, on-brand copy for campaigns, executive communications, web, social, video, and eventsInterview subject-matter experts and translate technical concepts into clear, compelling languageApply voice/tone and brand guidelines consistently across formats and channelsEdit and proofread for precision, accessibility, and compliancePartner with designers to concept creative ideas and narrativesIncorporate feedback quickly; manage multiple deadlines with calm and qualityCompetencies Include The FollowingOrganized and detail-oriented with strong follow-throughClear communication and service mindsetComfort with productivity and workflow tools; quick learnerAbility to produce in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentCreativity, curiosity, and a bias for actionQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related fieldMinimum of five (5) years of experience in copywritingA portfolio demonstrating expertise, versatility, and measurable resultsMust be local to the DMV and be able to work on-site 3-days a week (Tuesday being mandatory)DesiredMaster’s degree (i.e., Creative Writing, Advertising)Experience working in the national security industryWhat You Can Expect A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
