The Facility Manager’s Functions Shall Include, But Not Be Limited ToManaging the day-to-day operations of the Group HomeIn collaboration with the Program Director and Director of Residential Treatment, train, support and guide the direct care staff to ensure appropriate care and supervision is provided to youth and non-minor dependents in accordance with applicable law, licensing regulations, and facility policiesApply the “Reasonable and Prudent Parenting Standard” to decisions involving the participation of a resident in age or developmentally appropriate activities in accordance with rules, laws and policies and procedures when presentEnsure direct care staff are in compliance with all Project Six’ policies and procedures at all times and provide direct supervision of all staff in addition to Program DirectorSupervise residents as assignedOversee the required planned activities for youth/NMD.Report to the Program Director and make recommendations for continuous quality improvementsMaintain a safe, clean and therapeutic environmentDispense medication per Project Six’s policies and proceduresEnsure that meal preparation and other limited housekeeping duties, including assisting clients with laundry has been completedAbility to be certified and apply Hands on management techniques according to Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI)guidelines and/or follow client who is experiencing significant behavioral problems or has become Absent Without Leave (AWOL) from the facilityAttend and participate in all required meetings and in-service training sessions in order to develop and maintain skills. Secure First Aid and CPR certification in a timely manner.Submit reports and documentation in a timely manner. Record in the communication log dailyMaintain a positive relationship with parents, communicating with them as neededSupervise the petty cash procedures, including collection of receipts and distribution of petty cashEnsure compliance with Title 22 and other contract agency regulations and maintenance of Agency Quality Assurance standards.Any other duties that may be necessary to ensure the health and safety of youth and non-minor dependents in the facility What The Help Group Is Looking ForHave a Bachelor of Arts DegreeTwo years full time experience, or equivalent, working with youth, or equivalent education or experience as determined by CDSS Documentation of the required education and experience shall be maintained in the employee’s personnel fileTwo years of experience as a member of the social work staff in a group home or STRTP performing those duties.The Help Group offers wonderful training opportunities, a supportive, professional work environment and great benefits, including: A 100% employer-sponsored health insurance plan for full time employees; Medical, Dental, Vision Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation Time Flexible Spending 403b Plan Salary: $ 25.46We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
