Senior Manager Global Competitive & Market Intelligence (CMI)BD is seeking a Senior Manager Global Competitive & Market Intelligence (CMI), reporting into the Vice President head of Global Competitive & Market Intelligence (CMI), to join our team and drive strategic insights that shape business decisions across global markets. Become a maker of possible with us.Key Responsibilities:Strategic BU Engagement: Partner with senior business stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical competitive and market intelligence needs.Problem definition: Translate key business questions into analytical problems that can be answered with combination of internal & external data sourcesData analysis: Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis incl. advanced analytics and modeling to identify patterns, trends, and foresight signals from large data setsInsight Generation: Independently come up with key hypothesis and second order insights into the drivers of market trends and competitive performanceCross functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Corp. Strategy, Finance, BU strategy & leadership) to integrate insights into strategic decision-makingStorytelling & Communication: Craft clear, compelling storylines and deliver insights into BU and corporate leadership to influence strategic priorities.Project Leadership: Develop workplans and execute projects independently, collaborating closely with BU and corporate leadership teams.Process Excellence: Define and implement repeatable, streamlined processes and methodologies for Business Units (BUs) to execute competitive and market intelligence activities effectively.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years with a strong understanding of the business landscape, key data sources, and insight generation required. Healthcare industry experience preferred.Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in business, data science or related field, or MBA preferred.Preferred Attributes:Experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or strategy roles within healthcare.Familiarity with global healthcare trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory environments.Strong ability to work with big data environments, including data ingestion, transformation, and analysis using advanced toolsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organizationAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
