Sample Coordinator

Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through our client's approved 3rd party Direct Source provider for the duration of the specified project and will not be an employee of this Fortune 500 company.We are seeking an exceptionally organized Sample Coordinator to oversee and optimize physical Design asset management while collaborating with 5 teams within APB: Art Team, Apparel Design, Non-Apparel Design, Technical Design, Raw Materials. This role is responsible for leading organizational efficiency, ensuring best in class and completion of documentation of sample management SOPS, and streamlining and managing sample inflow/outflow tracking and flow across the product organization. The role would report to Sr. Design Manager.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in fashion/apparel industry, with 3+ years in an administrative role preferredProficiency in Centric PLM or similar product lifecycle management systemsProven track record in sample management and process improvementStrong organizational and team collaboration capabilitiesPreferred Skills:Experience with product life cycle processesKnowledge of fabric and graphic/print processesIn-depth understanding of apparel production processes and industry terminologyExceptional organizational and documentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in data migration and system integrationAbility to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environmentKey Responsibilities:Oversee design sample management including retail samples, PP, fit samples, Lab-dips, Strike-Offs and Deco Panel, fabric headers records across SPB ApparelPartner with product teams to develop SOPs for sample donation and disposalSupport product teams with shipping and receiving of samples from the mail room.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Archive physical Design Assets (PP, L/D, S/O, and Deco Panels) in LA officeOrganize Design sample library of in-season and retail samplesEducation:Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Design, CAD, Product Management, or related fieldThis posting is for a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions to provide services to our client.
