This role could be based in the following studios:CharlotteClevelandDallasHoustonMinneapolisOmahaOverland ParkPhoenixOther DLR Group offices may be considered; a full list of locations can be found here (this is not a remote position): https://www.dlrgroup.com/firm/locations/Position SummaryThe HRIS Application Administrator is responsible for the technical administration, configuration, and optimization of the organization’s Human Resources Information Systems, with a primary focus on Dayforce. This role ensures system stability, security, integration, and data integrity while partnering closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep HRIS expertise, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset to continuously improve systems that support the full employee lifecycle.What You Will DoAdminister and support the Dayforce HRIS platform to ensure reliable performance, availability, and data integrity, including configuration, optimization, and end-user supportConfigure system rules, workflows, security roles, and access controls in alignment with business and IT standardsTranslate business requirements into effective system configurations and technical solutionsTroubleshoot application, data, and integration issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolutionMonitor and support system integrations, interfaces, and file transmissions (e.g., SFTP)Perform impact analysis and coordinate configuration changes across environments following change management practicesSupport vendor release cycles, patches, and system upgrades, including testing and deployment readinessDevelop and execute functional, integration, and regression testing for system changes and enhancementsMaintain system documentation, including configurations, data flows, and operational proceduresServe as a technical liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors, communicating system status, risks, and dependenciesCreate, modify, and troubleshoot reports and integrations with other systems (e.g. timekeeping, performance, API integrations, file feeds, scheduled jobs, etc.)Manage user roles, permissions, and security groupsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in HRIS, HR technology, business analysis, or related roles with increasing responsibilityHands-on experience administering and configuring an HCM platform (Dayforce strongly preferred)Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and core HR operations from onboarding through offboardingProven ability to translate business needs into technical system solutionsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysisStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersHigh level of discretion and experience handling sensitive and confidential dataDemonstrated discipline in documentation, testing, and quality assurancePreferred QualificationsExperience supporting ATS configuration, integrations, and adoptionExperience implementing an HRISExperience coordinating or leading small to medium cross-functional initiativesExposure to system audits, access reviews, and compliance-related reportingExperience supporting organizational growth, transformation, or M&A integrationBackground in architecture, engineering, consulting, or professional services environmentsFamiliarity with change management practices and IT service delivery modelsOur comprehensive Benefits at DLR Group include medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness programs, flex spending, paid holidays, and paid time off.
