Organizational Change Management (OCM) Manager

MSA Professional Services is seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Manager to lead and execute change strategies that drive successful adoption of key initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership, project teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure changes are clearly understood, effectively implemented, and sustainably embedded into the business.This role is based out of our Madison, Baraboo, Des Moines or St Paul offices and can be hybrid or fully onsite.MSA Professional Services is 100% employee-owned, meaning every employee has a direct stake in the success of the company. This ownership mindset drives our collaborative culture, long-term thinking, and commitment to delivering high-quality work for the communities we serve.Responsibilities Responsibilities Client & Stakeholder LeadershipServe as a trusted advisor to leaders and internal clients on change strategy, readiness, and adoptionBuild strong relationships across teams, departments, and leadership levelsPartner with project sponsors to ensure active, visible sponsorshipCoach leaders to effectively guide their teams through changeTranslate complex change impacts into clear, audience-specific messagingProject & Change ExecutionLead change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and organizational readiness evaluationsDevelop and execute right-sized change management strategies and plansPartner with leadership on communication strategies and deliver aligned communication, training, and engagement plansIntegrate change management activities into overall project plans and timelinesDefine and track adoption metrics, success measures, and resistance indicatorsIdentify risks to adoption and develop mitigation strategiesSupport sustainment planning and benefits realization post-implementationTechnical & Methodology LeadershipApply Prosci ADKAR methodology across all phases of changeDevelop key deliverables including change strategies, stakeholder analyses, communication plans, and enablement materialsDesign and facilitate workshops, focus groups, and leadership sessionsBuild tools and frameworks to analyze change data and measure outcomesEnsure consistency and quality across change management practicesContribute to the evolution of OCM methodologies, tools, and templatesDeliver training and enablement sessions to build internal change capabilityBusiness ImpactDrive measurable adoption and usage of new processes, systems, and behaviorsAlign change initiatives with organizational strategy and prioritiesIdentify opportunities to improve organizational change maturityManage work within scope, schedule, and budget expectationsCollaborate with Shared Services and Operations to align change and project management effortsQualifications Qualifications EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related field requiredExperience6+ years of experience in organizational change management, organizational development, consulting, or related fieldProven experience leading change initiatives for complex projects (e.g., technology implementations, process transformations, M&A integration)Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teamsRequired Knowledge & SkillsStrong knowledge of structured change management methodologies (Prosci experience)Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skillsAbility to translate strategy into actionable plansAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret data and insightsHigh emotional intelligence and ability to navigate ambiguity and resistanceStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities at one timeSolid business acumen and understanding of organizational performance impactsCertificationsProsci Certified Change Practitioner preferredPMP, Agile, Six Sigma, or similar certifications preferredIdeal Candidate Profile Understands what it takes to influence and change behaviors—especially in the context of technology adoptionComfortable working in an environment where change management maturity is still evolving; energized by building and scaling programs over timeEmbraces iteration and experimentation—willing to test, learn, and refine rather than waiting for a perfect solutionMotivated by resistance and lagging adoption, viewing it as an opportunity to problem-solve and improve outcomes rather than a frustrationAdditional BenefitsEligible employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:Compensation Range: $99k to $160k (commensurate with experience)Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – As a 100% employee-owned company, eligible employees receive company shares at no cost401(k) Retirement Plan – Generous employer match that is immediately 100% vestedMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance for employees and eligible dependentsPaid Time Off – Minimum of 17 days in the first yearPaid Holidays – 8 holidays annuallyPaid Parental Leave – 2 weeks for both parents, with additional paid leave for birth parentsEmployer-Paid Insurance – Life, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverageShort-Term Incentive Program (STIP) – Annual performance-based bonus opportunityEqual Opportunity EmployerMSA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
