The Quality Control Inspector role is a Contract opportunity with a client located in St Paul MN 55117-Onsite. We’re ideally looking for applicants to have a solid background in the similar domain. Title: Quality Control InspectorAddress: St Paul MN 55117Pay Rate $28 to $30/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Contract: 6+ MonthsShift: 7 am to 3:30 pm Position SummaryPerforms inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products in accordance with company policies and procedures. Provides technical inspection support to Supplier Quality Engineering and assists with quality validation, data analysis, and inspection process improvements. Essential FunctionsPerform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections according to documented procedures and specifications.Record inspection and test data accurately following written instructions and quality standards.Operate test and measurement equipment as required for inspection activities.Develop and improve inspection methods and procedures.Support validation and qualification activities.Program and operate CMM and optical inspection systems.Utilize SAP for incoming material quality control requirements.Document non-conforming materials in the Non-Conforming Material Review (NCMR) system.Participate in GR&R studies and First Article Inspection (FAI) data collection and analysis.Conduct inspections and testing for special test requests.Assist in selecting test and measurement equipment.Interface with suppliers regarding material quality and technical inspection issues.Train inspection staff on equipment usage and inspection procedures as needed.Gather, analyze, and trend quality inspection data. Other DutiesPerform additional miscellaneous duties as assigned.Support divisional initiatives and compliance with:Quality Management Systems (QMS)Environmental Management Systems (EMS)Regulatory and company quality standards.
