Join us and help continue our proud tradition of excellent service to our community.Position SummaryA Personal Injury Litigation Specialist provides a range of legal support to the Personal Injury Litigation Attorney.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:Processing assigned claims in accordance with the Firm’s policies and proceduresEnsuring case management software (CMS) feed is cleared dailyCompleting all assigned tasks by relevant deadlinesDocumenting all relevant activity in CMS properlyEnsuring emails are cleared dailyCompleting monthly Meaningful Client Communication (MCC) and serving as the primary point of contact for the clientCommunicating with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, medical providers, and other relevant parties as directed by the assigned attorneyMeeting with the assigned attorney on a regular basis to review and discuss pending issues in litigationPreparing draft complaints, RFE, ECC, and all other pleadingsUpdating litigation chainsManaging the assigned attorney’s calendarDrafting interrogatoriesRetaining expertsReviewing opposing party disclosuresAuditing subrogation liensFinalizing settlement sheetsDrafting a minor’s compromise and submitting to the courtObtaining proof of established blocked accounts and submitting to courtPerforming other duties as assignedRequirementsRequired Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Associates Degree or Certificate program in legal studiesA minimum of one year of personal injury litigation experienceThorough knowledge of legal principles, legal research techniques, legal terminology, and government regulationsExcellent legal drafting, writing, and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skillsProficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, computerAbility to work with databases and online technological platformsAbility to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexibleAbility to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-upProficient command of the English language in both oral and written formatAbility to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various backgrounds and professional competenciesCommitted to maintaining integrity and confidentiality on behalf of clients and the FirmPreferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)Bachelor’s degree in legal StudiesBilingual in English and SpanishAuthorized Nevada NotaryGGRM Law Firm provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.Salary Description$50,000 - $97,000, depending on experience
