As a Membership Specialist, your goal is to increase membership numbers through prospecting, member referrals, phone calls, and walk-in visits. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service and sales skills, a positive attitude, and a love of fitness.ResponsibilitiesGreet members, guests, and prospective members as they arrive at the gymAnswer phone calls and assist membersCommunicate with leads and potential members through calls, texts, emails, and in-person meetingsProvide an excellent onboarding experienceAssist members with resolving any concerns or complaintsQualificationsHigh school diploma/GED requiredPrevious customer service or sales experienceProficient in MS Office and other computer programsPositive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills
