Lifecycle Operations Analyst
Job Description SummaryAs the Lifecycle Operation Engineer, you will be responsible for the performance, availability, and security of the sites compute and network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on monitoring, automation, and stability. The role ensures a highly connected manufacturing environment and develops capabilities to collect, integrate, and deliver operational data that improves supply chain efficiency and business outcomes. This position is focused on providing a robust, secure, and reliable digital backbone for the shop floor, empowering the business to make faster, data-driven decisions.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:In this role, you will:Own IT oversight of the manufacturing floor, including proactive monitoring, operational support, and end-to-end network connectivityPartner with business and IT stakeholders to maintain, develop, and enhance machine data collection systems that enable business intelligence and decision-makingRapidly respond to and resolve critical service outages that severely impact shop operations, supporting a 24x7 environmentSupport machine installation, cabling, and configuration required for network integrationProvide site support for DT initiatives, projects, SQDIP priorities, and basic network, hardware, and software needsMaintain server room equipment and network switch closets, including upgrades, monitoring, environmental controls, and connectivityInfluence within the immediate working team and contribute to implementation of key elements of the technology roadmapPerform day-to-day operational activities related to shop connectivity and digital operationsLead small projects with minimal oversight, delivering solutions that meet industry best practices and customer expectationsDrive continuous improvement and stability of the IT/OT environment, simplifying and standardizing processes where possibleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and aligned solutionsOperate effectively in high-stress situations, providing reliable support in a 24x7 production contextOccasional need for a 24x7 manufacturing environment with occasional off-hours or weekend work during incidents, maintenance windows, or cutovers.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 1 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 6 years of professional experienceNote: Military experience is equivalent to professional experienceEligibility Requirement:Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.Desired Characteristics:Technical Expertise:Basic understanding of MS SQL and Network Topology, including Switches, Routers, and FirewallsWorking knowledge of MS Windows ServersCan evaluate proper installation parameters for software and hardware, for smooth integration, transition and efficiencyBasic technical foundation in infrastructure technologiesStrong knowledge of networks, vlans, and firewall concepts.Experience with industrial controllers and HMIsBusiness Acumen:Ability to break down complex issues and challenges to deliver recommendations on remediationsDemonstrated ability to drive tasks through completion report status to supervisorExperience in process management and improvement in a technical environmentUnderstanding of our Export Control and Data Privacy regulationsPersonal Attributes:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiencesOrganized and self-motivated with an ability to prioritize and manage demanding workloadAbility to innovate and adapt based on team needs and new technologiesNote:To comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years' experience required for any role based within the USA.
