Description:
Summary:
The primary function of this position is to support the transfer case assembly process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Receives direction from team leads on priority units
Rebuilding planetaries
Processing oil pumps
Cleaning magnets
Learn and perform teardown, inspection, assembly, and final test of transfer case shift motors
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, properly disposing of worn parts
Other tasks as directed, including cross-training in other areas of the shop
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Basic automotive or mechanical skills
Familiarity and/or use of power tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to cross-train in other areas of the shop
