Human Resources Manager (The Woodlands)

This role sits at the intersection of operations and culture, and it's the right fit for someone who holds rigorous process and genuine warmth in balance — and believes that getting HR right is one of the most powerful ways a company can serve its people.What you'll doEmployee lifecycleOwn full-cycle onboarding — structured, warm, and efficient from offer acceptance through 90 days.Manage offboarding and exit interviews with thoughtful transitions that protect the business and respect the exiting employee.Handle internal moves, promotions, title changes, and terminations with consistency, compliance, and dignity.Coordinate employee and community events and milestones that build genuine connections.Payroll and benefitsRun full-cycle payroll processing and benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary plans.Manage HSA and DC-FSA enrollment, contribution management, and employee education.Administer the 401(k) plan, including compliance and employee engagement.Coordinate workers' comp claims, STD claims, and maternity/parental leave.HRIS and dataOwn and optimize the HRIS platform — configuration level, not just navigation.Maintain employee records, documentation, and digital file management with precision.Build reporting and analytics to surface insights for leadership.Lead change management for system updates, new modules, and process rollouts.Employee relationsServe as the first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and issues.Navigate sensitive situations with judgment, empathy, and compliance in mind.Document consistently and protect confidentiality without exception.Partner with managers to build a culture of clear expectations and fair feedback.Automation and AIAutomate onboarding task sequences, device provisioning prompts, and day-one communications.Build payroll QA automations that flag anomalies before they reach the bank.Implement AI-assisted FAQ and self-service tools to reduce HR ticket volume.Auto-generate offer letters, LOAs, and change forms from HRIS data.Create guided benefits enrollment tools and automated reminders that drive completion.Synthesize exit interview themes using AI to surface retention risks early.What we're looking forBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.4–7 years of progressive HR experience with a spike in HRIS systems and HR technology.Full-cycle payroll experience required; Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.Deep HRIS proficiency — configuration level, not just navigation.Genuine curiosity about AI and automation in HR; experience building or piloting HR automations preferred.Change management experience — comfortable leading system transitions and process redesigns.Exceptional documentation discipline and a bias toward action.SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.Nice to haveMaster's degree in HR or Business.Experience evaluating or implementing HR tech platforms.Background in benefits compliance, leave administration, or 401(k) plan management.Experience in a high-growth or fast-scaling company environment.Why join AllianceHCM?100% employer-paid health, dental, vision, life, and LTD insurance.401(k) with employer match.Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.Entrepreneurial, high-growth company culture.Direct exposure to leadership and high-impact projects.Team-oriented environment where your ideas and insights drive real change.
