This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a skilled team of professionals dedicated to cybersecurity excellence and national defense.As an ISSO, you will apply and manage IT security controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of DoD systems and data. Your work will ensure alignment with existing hardware and software configurations, while maintaining coordination with system and network configuration managers.In this role, you will support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) life cycle-spanning assessment, authorization, sustainment, and system disposition. You'll collaborate with Certified Defense Contractors to maintain continuous monitoring and meet change management requirements. Coordination with the Security Control Assessor (SCA) and Authorizing Official Designated Representative (AODR) will be essential for obtaining and maintaining security approvals.Additional responsibilities include routine ISSO functions such as account management, auditing, and vulnerability scanning.
