Loom Operator
Job Description
Fabricator – This position fixes and makes parts for broken looms and maintains the working order of the loom, this position is located in the Production Plant.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Tasks and Work Activities
Perform required preventive maintenance on looms
Reading and understanding assembly instructions
Welding or manufacturing assorted products using raw materials
Test and ensure all parts are properly fitted, aligned and in working order
Troubleshooting and testing products
Ensure quality requirements are being met, both for specific job as well as AS9100 quality requirements
Maintain a clean, safe working environment
Support and provide input to the AS9100 quality system through document development and revisions and support audits both internal and external
Perform visual inspections of work area and finished set up.
Communicating with Supervisors – Providing necessary information to supervisors regarding any issues regarding the set up or looms.
Electrical experience a plus

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Indoors – This position is located in the Production Plant.
The typical work day is standing for long periods of time
Employee must be able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Duration of a Typical Work Week – This position is a four (4) day work week consisting of ten (10) hours per day.
