This role leads high-impact initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost while embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the facility.You'll also partner cross-functionally to execute the plant's annual operating plan, delivering measurable results through hands-on leadership, data-driven decision-making, and strong engagement on the production floor. What You'll Do Safety & LeadershipChampion a safety-first culture by collaborating with EHS to ensure policies, programs, and practices promote a safe working environmentServe as a visible leader on the plant floor, setting expectations and reinforcing standardsContinuous Improvement Strategy & ExecutionLead the deployment and sustainment of Lean and CI methodologies across the plantIdentify, prioritize, and execute high-value cost savings and efficiency projectsDrive a structured approach to project selection, resourcing, and executionOperational ExcellencePartner with operations to address daily production challenges, improving:Product qualityThroughput and productivityOn-time delivery performanceAct as a site-wide problem solver, using root cause analysis and data to drive solutionsPeople Development & CultureCoach and develop engineers, supervisors, and hourly team members on CI principles and leadership skillsLead and facilitate training programs to build organizational CI capabilityFoster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative cultureData & Performance ManagementAnalyze data from multiple systems to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesDevelop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to track CI progressSupport and lead efforts to improve performance against CI audits and benchmarksProject & Communication LeadershipLead cross-functional teams on major improvement initiativesCommunicate progress, results, and priorities to plant leadership and stakeholdersPromote best practice sharing across the facility and broader organization What Success Looks Like Measurable improvements in cost, efficiency, and productivityStrong employee engagement and CI adoption across all levelsSustainable improvements validated through audits and performance metricsA visible and trusted leader on the plant floor What We're Looking For Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical field preferred)5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvementProven experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methodologiesSolid proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (SAP experience preferred)Preferred QualificationsContinuous Improvement CertificationsSAPKey CompetenciesResults-driven with a strong track record of delivering measurable improvementsInfluential leader who can drive change across all levels of the organizationStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective coach and communicatorHigh level of business and operational acumen What Sets You Apart Hands-on experience driving CI initiatives directly on the plant floorAbility to overcome resistance and lead change effectivelyTrack record of delivering quantifiable cost savings and performance gainsPassion for developing people and building high-performing teams#LI-onsite OurExpectations We expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
