Journeyman/Apprentice Electricians - Commercial Project
*Overview*We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your professional growth.*Duties*Install, modify, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute electrical installations.Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system integrity.Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits to support automation and control processes.Conduct routine inspections on electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations; troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals.Collaborate with construction teams on framing carpentry, conduit installation, and other related tasks during new builds or renovations.Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance records.*Qualifications*Valid journeyman electrician license or certification demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes and practices.Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician working on construction sites or renovation projects.Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control systems involving PLCs and low/high voltage circuits.Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills; testing equipment like ohmmeters; and power saws.Experience reading technical schematics and performing installation or troubleshooting based on detailed drawings.Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces; familiar with NEC regulations for high voltage systems.Hands-on experience with construction site activities including framing carpentry and handyman tasks is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety compliance and quality assurance.
